Greetings and welcome! This is Pedro Margate's personal web site. I am a Seattle, WA software engineer with an endless appetite for challenge and a wide range of experience.
I've been programming games for years, with two independently released titles and credited work on several others.
I am capable of producing software for several mobile platforms, having started with J2ME and more recently creating applications on Android, iOS, webOS, and Windows Mobile devices.
I have been a Unix system administrator for nearly my entire career and am fully capable of setting up and managing Internet servers providing web, mail, and other services. On the development side, I possess deep experience with writing Unix server applications of all kinds, while keeping code portable for use on other platforms as applicable.
